Upper Back Pain Relief Testimonial

Upper Back Pain Relief Testimonial

Pain shot across my upper back making it nearly impossible to adjust without dropping the lid and possibly causing a cascading effect against innocent items that surrounded me. I was called over to return the Jacuzzi lid to its covering position so as to not let the heat escape and save on the electric bill.

Reminded of a past experience with a similar injury, I was momentarily caught up emotionally about the restriction that would soon ensue and reign upon me the next few days. I weighed and summoned the focus needed to accomplish the task at hand.

The previous injury occurred during the beginning of a Jujitsu class. When I turned to the presiding sensei and asked for some help, he insisted that I continue practice and let him know if I still needed help by the end of the class. I had already learned quite a bit of Seifukujitsu (Largely unknown in this country, it is immediately recognized in Japan and Hawaii. This healing method is over 1200 years old and its practitioners in Japan are referred to as “doctor”. It can be translated as “Restoration Therapy” due to its emphasis on restoring the body to a state known in China as “Fusheng” or restore to normal.) and knew exactly what was needed at the time.

Being who I am, I chose not to complain and go about how I would fight while injured in such a way. By the end of that class, two things were learned. One, I fought so well and smoothly that no one knew the injury I was dealing with and was applauded for the execution of each maneuver. The second thing was that I never wanted to put off pain again unless I really had to, such was the intensity.

Upon returning home, two friends worked on my back commenting how much it felt like one mass of solid rock. I was given an OTC medication to help relax the muscles. My entire being was focused within the delirium of pain that I was unable to speak for some time. There was no way I was capable of giving directions to help solve that problem.

When I dropped the Jacuzzi lid into place, I knew full well that I wanted to act fast in order to avoid further agitation and a repeat of such pain as before.
